Volunteers are the lifeblood of the Tibbetts Point Lighthouse.  We are an all-volunteer organization.  

We offer a wide range of meaningful volunteer opportunities to suit your interests and schedule. Most of our volunteers work only one 3-hour shift per week in our Gift Shop.  Other opportunities involve special talents, such as skills in finance, social media, minor maintenance, gardening, and grant writing.

Successful volunteers enjoy interacting with the public.  They are friendly and enthusiastic about history and lighthouses.

It's a great way to meet new people, learn new things, and give back. Not to mention that it's an amazing place with gorgeous scenery to spend a few hours.
